Job summary

The role requires calm under pressure, precise data entry, and strong communication skills. This position involves working varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with APSIN eligibility and background checks standard.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must pass drug screening test and criminal background checks; APSIN eligibility required.
• Workweek includes varied shifts, 24/7 coverage including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receives, classifies, and prioritizes all incoming calls to the dispatch center.
• Operates public safety communications equipment including 9-1-1, CAD, and multi-channel radio systems.
• Provides first responder assistance in emergencies and coordinates dispatch of Police, Fire, and EMS.
