Job summary

FPC Franchise in Manteca, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead round-the-clock maintenance operations for a busy manufacturing facility. You will plan staffing, prioritize work, and ensure preventive maintenance aligns with production demands to minimize downtime.

You will coach and develop maintenance personnel, collaborate with production leadership, review PM schedules, and drive reliability improvements while upholding safety and plant policies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year leading, mentoring, or directing maintenance personnel.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• BS in Engineering or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan staffing, prioritize work, and keep maintenance aligned with production demands.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and daily equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel through hands‑on leadership and technical training.
• Work closely with production leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and keep operations moving.
• Review work orders, PM schedules, and equipment issues to improve response time, reliability, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Reinforce plant policies, safe work practices, and accountability across the maintenance team.
• Support training, skill development, and continuous growth within the maintenance organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, communication, and maintenance processes.
• Participate in safety investigations, corrective actions, and initiatives that improve overall plant performance.
