Job summary

CAMBA Inc in New York City is seeking a full-time Security Guard for 57 East 128th Street, a supportive housing site. You will monitor security and fire safety, conduct patrols, screen tenants and visitors, and report irregularities. The role requires a NYS Security Guard license and completion of required trainings.

Shift times are 4PM-12AM and 12AM-8AM; compensation is $18.54 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package offered by CAMBA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have 8 hour Pre-Assignment security guard training certificate.
• Must obtain 16 hour On-the-Job security guard training certificate within 90 days.
• Must complete 8 Hour Annual In-Service Course each calendar year.
• Must maintain NYS Security Guard license and registration.
• Must obtain Fire guard certification and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the security and fire safety of the entire facility.
• Patrol buildings and grounds of CAMBA programs.
• Observe and report irregularities and security concerns.
• Monitor tenants and facility via security camera systems.
• Conduct security screenings of all tenants and visitors entering the facility.
• Document in security logbooks and incident report forms.
