Job summary

Signet Health manages the behavioral health services at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas. The Maintenance Technician coordinates preventive maintenance, repairs, work orders, inspections, and general building services to keep a safe, functional environment for patients and staff.

Working with the Manager of Facilities and hospital leadership, you ensure compliance with DNV, CMS, NFPA Life Safety, and state regulations while supporting on‑call rotations and emergency

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating preventive maintenance programs.
• Healthcare or behavioral health setting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and generators.
• Respond to and coordinate maintenance work orders from clinical and administrative departments.
• Troubleshoot minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues; escalate as needed.
• Assist with life safety inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain building and grounds; oversee vendor coordination and on-site contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response.
