WinCo Foods is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant to provide friendly, efficient service at our 24/7 checkout areas. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and help ensure accuracy and security at the point of sale.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform friendly, courteous, tactful relations with customers and co-workers.
• Conduct basic math and read product information to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers with a friendly attitude.
• Operates cash register, scanner and scale to process orders across two aisles.
• Engages in suggestive selling and sales techniques.
• Processes monetary transactions and handles cash, checks, gift certificates, and coupons.
• Maintains knowledge of product location, pricing and UPC codes.
• Keeps checkout areas clean, stocked and safe.
• May assist at self-checkout or customer service as needed.
• Follows laws and policies for selling restricted items and government programs.
