Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Data Center Operations & Maintenance professional in Allen, TX, reporting to the Sr Facility Manager. The role supports 24/7/365 operations within a data center environment, focusing on maintaining reliability of the critical load and coordinating with contractors for maintenance and projects.

The candidate will use CMMS to track work, respond to alarms, and ensure adherence to SOPs/MOPs/EOPs, while complying with safety and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R.
• 5–7 years in Tier 2–4 data centers or similar operations & maintenance roles.
• Familiarity with Work Order Control procedures and CMMS.
• Experience with subcontractor and vendor management.
• Experience with KPI management and reporting.
• Capacity planning and reporting experience.
• Able to use hand tools and maintenance shop practices at Journeyman level for electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; Visio/AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate data center systems ensuring reliability of critical load.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors for maintenance and project work.
• Respond to alarms with priority to protect critical load and minimize damage.
• Follow SOPs/MOPs/EOPs and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company, government and client policies.
