Job summary

CACI is seeking a Data Center Operations Specialist to support the Defense Intelligence Agency in a 24/7 global operations role. You will manage physical and virtual data center health, implement cloud integration, and ensure secure, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8140/ Security+ certification, and 4+ years in data center hardware/software management, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start
• DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)
• Minimum formal education and years of related experience as listed (AA/BS/MS/PhD with corresponding years)
• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain data center configurations for redundancy and efficiency
• Perform physical racking, provisioning, and maintenance of servers, network gear, and storage
• Manage hardware break/fix tasks and decommission end-of-life components
• Oversee copper/fiber cable plant upgrades and maintenance
• Run, terminate, and test structured cabling; monitor environmental parameters
• Coordinate with mechanical, network, and security resources for operations
• Collaborate with engineers on site surveys and data collection
• Support data center implementations and asset inventory management
• Assist with monitoring tool integration to meet SLAs and ITSM objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
