Job summary

CACI's CIS program supports our intelligence customer by delivering IT services for globally distributed operations and modernizing IT infrastructure. We seek a Data Center Engineer to design, implement, and optimize physical, virtual, and cloud data center environments that are highly resilient and securely accredited.

You will bridge facility engineering and IT operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and overseeing DCIM tools and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with poly eligibility prior to start.
• DOD 8140 Certification applicable to the role (minimum Security+).
• Experience: 6+ years designing, integrating, validating and implementing data center solutions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and update physical, virtual, and cloud-based data center configurations for redundancy and efficiency.
• Review DCIM tools quarterly to verify best capabilities for managing data centers.
• Incorporate seismic, fire, and thermal considerations in power, cooling, and space design.
• Conduct site surveys, data gathering, and reviews to meet requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, network, and security engineers for designs and implementations.
• Collaborate with operations to integrate data center monitoring tools to meet SLAs and ITSM objectives.
• Perform testing to aid in achieving IATTs and ATOS, and provide engineering support for implementations.
