Job summary

Zepf Center is seeking a CSU Behavioral Health Tech to support individuals in crisis and ensure the smooth operation of 24/7 mental health services in Lucas County, Ohio. The role involves direct client contact, crisis intervention, transportation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include assessments, documentation, and coordination with clinicians, case managers, and community providers to deliver responsive and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred in mental health or social services.
• Must have CDCA certification or QMHS credential for SUD/crisis departments.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mental health crises in the field or facility, providing immediate support to clients and families.
• Coordinate services with other health professionals.
• Observe, monitor, and engage clients to ensure safety and well-being.
• Provide outreach and transportation as needed to appointments or emergency services.
• Document client interactions and complete required shift logs, incident reports, and billing information.
• Participate in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention training and other professional development.
