Vitro Architectural Glass is seeking a highly skilled Manager for the Value Added Products department to oversee 24/7 operations in the Coating area. You will drive safety, quality, and cost efficiency while leading engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff to meet customer specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, engineering expertise, and a solid background in glass manufacturing with a focus on Lean principles and continuous improvement. On-site roles in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10 years of strong technical experience in glass manufacturing technology.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with exposure to various physical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24-hour operations in the Coating area to meet safety and quality goals.
• Ensure compliance with Vitro safety standards and quality programs.
• Manage budgetary performance and optimize maintenance costs.
• Provide strong leadership to achieve outgoing quality targets and project timelines.
• Lead engineering and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Support plant production goals with timely and effective cross-functional collaboration.
