Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Campus Security Dispatcher to handle calls from students and staff, coordinate emergency responses, and provide information on safety, parking, and directions. The role operates 24/7 in a busy environment and requires calm under pressure and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

The dispatcher will answer multiple lines, use CAD, support clerical tasks, and may work during emergencies with rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Formación

• Administrative experience and dispatch experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Answer multiple phone lines and dispatch officers to locations on and off campus.
• Assist walk-ins with inquiries and provide safety information.
• Coordinate emergencies with law enforcement, medical, and/or fire responders.
• Utilize the CAD system for dispatch and data entry tasks.
• May be required to work during emergencies and rotate shifts including nights and weekends.
