Raley's is seeking a Cake Decorating Bakery Team Member to craft decorated cakes, cookies, and fresh bakery items, while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will support daily bakery operations, merchandising, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and able to follow directions, manage time effectively, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere with strong service orientation.

Qualifications

Essential Job Functions And Basic Duties

• Icing sheet cakes and decorating with spatulas, icing bags and icing tips per customer order or at decorators discretion.
• Providing memorable customer service during daily customer interactions
• Preparation of food, including baking bread, decorating cookies, creating fresh offerings
• Sharing food knowledge with customers
• Cleaning, Food Safety, Safety, and Sanitation
• Day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings
• Stocking, rotating, and merchandising department products

Desired Qualifications

• Friendly and customer service oriented. Interest in food and cooking a plus.
• Customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery or similar experience desired
• Skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
• Ability to work independently, effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written directions
• Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:
