Job summary

Litehouse Inc. is seeking a Mixer in Lowell, MI to support multiple mix systems, including spice, prep, and testing. The role offers evening shifts with a rotating schedule and pay starting at $20.50 per hour plus shift differentials.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in a production setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate batch automation software. 100% employee-owned company with solid benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting is common.
• Comfortable operating or learning computer-based batch automation technology.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce high-value recipes.
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided).
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches while following strict allergen protocols.
• Keep workspace and production area clean and organized.
• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO practices.
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain production records.
• Adhere to all food safety policies and promptly report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Starting Pay: $20.50/hr

Additional Pay: 2nd shift is $1.50/hr, 3rd/D/C Shift is $3/hr

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 0–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting
• Ability to operate or learn computer-based batch automation technology
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
• Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs. regularly
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-minded attitude
