Job Summary:

Performs routine and complex duties in support of library patronneeds and library management goals under minimal supervision.Supports the development of policies, procedures and tools toadvance library mission and goals.

Job Description:
  • Resolves library-related issues, answers complex questions, andprovides information on non-routine library services to individualsor groups based on set material or standards.
  • Maintains internal and external partnerships to advance thegoals of the library program.
  • Makes recommendations for improvement to the development oflibrary policies and procedures.
  • Incorporates improvement recommendations into existing servicesbased on feedback and institutional needs.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Processes collections according to established standards.
  • Participates in the curation of basic exhibits and assists withcomplex/advanced exhibits.

Other Requirements:
  • Physical Requirements: This position may require the handling, transporting, andrelocating of materials, including boxes and archival collections,weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with or withoutreasonable accommodation.
  • Visual Requirements: This position requires the ability to review, process, andinterpret printed and handwritten materials, including cursivewriting, as well as information displayed on computer screens andother documents, with or without reasonableaccommodation.

Compensation:

$42,640.00 - $63,980.80
