Alpha Star Logistics Inc. is hiring a Delivery Associate/Driver to safely deliver 200-300+ packages daily in the Greater Cleveland area from our Bedford, OH station. You are part of a team that owns every mile with safety, reliability, and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

Eligible to work in the U.S.
At least 21 years of age
Valid driver's license (Required)
Strong safety commitment and reliability
Ability to commute to Bedford, OH delivery station
No prior delivery experience required — training provided

Responsibilities

Safely operate company delivery vehicles following traffic laws and safety guidelines
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues
Load and unload packages effectively and securely
Deliver 200-300+ packages per day and navigate routes efficiently
Provide outstanding customer service and communicate schedule changes proactively
Coordinate with warehouse, management and customers
Navigate varying weather and route conditions and report obstacles
Take ownership of equipment, results, and company reputation
Perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and stairs as needed

Job Description

As aDelivery Associate/Driver at Alpha Star Logistics, you are more than just a driver, you are a critical member of a team that owns every mile with excellence. You will deliver packages in the Greater Cleveland area safely and reliably while helping us create real opportunity for our people, our communities, and the customers we serve every day.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate company delivery vehicles while strictly adhering to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations
Load and unload packages efficiently and safely, ensuring proper handling and secure delivery of all parcels and sensitive materials
Efficiently deliver 200-300+ packages per day by managing your route effectively and using handheld devices for precise navigation and tracking
Deliver an outstanding customer experience by beingCustomer Obsessed — delivering packages and smiles while proactively communicating any delays or schedule changes
Communicate effectively and professionally with warehouse personnel, management, and customers
Navigate diverse routes in varying weather conditions and inform management of any obstacles affecting safe, efficient, on-time deliveries
Act with full ownership: take personal responsibility for your equipment, results, and the reputation of Alpha Star Logistics
Perform all physical demands of the role, including lifting packages up to 50 lbs, getting in/out of the delivery vehicle, and walking up/down stairs throughout your shift (with or without reasonable accommodation)
