21 ST CENTURY – YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKER – MIDDLE SCHOOL

The 21st Century Youth Development Worker plays a key role in supporting middle school students through academic support, enrichment, and relationship‑building in a high‑quality out‑of‑school time program. This position is ideal for educators, future teachers, youth workers, or college students passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

This is a part‑time position (16 hours/week, Monday‑Thursday, 1:30‑5:30) during the school year with potential for summer hours. $20.77 per hour.

What You’ll Do
  • Support a small group of middle school students during academic support (homework) time
  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to monitor student needs
  • Design and facilitate engaging enrichment activities aligned with program goals
  • Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that strengthens students’ connection to school
  • Model positive behavior, build strong relationships, and support social‑emotional development
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Contribute to a team‑focused, mission‑driven program culture
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a BA program in a related field
