Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team in Honolulu, HI. This full-time on-site role reports to the Resident Manager and requires reliable punctuality and the ability to work with residents and contractors.

The position involves routine building and grounds maintenance, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work, and responding to maintenance emergencies.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Knowledge of building safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, residents, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and grounds maintenance and repairs.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Repair irrigation sprinklers, light fixtures, railings, doors, cabinets, and other building components.
• Check and maintain pumps, ventilation fans, fire equipment, and other building systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory and check-out records for tools and supplies.
• Prepare lists of materials and supplies needed for upcoming work.
• Assist outside contractors when needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Submit reports regarding property damage, equipment issues, and other maintenance concerns.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Resident Manager.

Pay: This position has a fixed pay rate of $21/hour

Experience: Previous maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred.

Schedule:Monday - Saturday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
