Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Honolulu, HI. This is a full-time on-site position with a fixed pay rate of $21/hour and a schedule of Monday through Saturday, 7:00am–4:00pm.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems, plus the ability to troubleshoot and work independently. The team values reliability and effective communication with residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Knowledge of building safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, residents, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and grounds maintenance and repairs.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Repair irrigation sprinklers, light fixtures, railings, doors, cabinets, and other building components.
• Check and maintain pumps, ventilation fans, fire equipment, and other building systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory and check-out records for tools and supplies.
• Prepare lists of materials and supplies needed for upcoming work.
• Assist outside contractors when needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Submit reports regarding property damage, equipment issues, and other maintenance concerns.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Resident Manager.
