Job summary

A1 Shipping LLC, a Virginia Beach-based Amazon DSP, is hiring full-time Delivery Drivers. Shifts are typically 10am–8pm and you will load vans, deliver packages door-to-door, and navigate routes in all weather with safety as a priority.

We offer paid training at $21/hour, immediate PTO accrual, tuition reimbursement up to $5,650 yearly, a 401K match after 3 months, and overtime at $31.50/hour. Advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Authorized to Work in the United States
• Have a valid driver's license (CDL not required)
• Have a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Be able to read and speak English for safety reasons.

Responsibilities

• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and on time.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records.
• Have a positive can-do attitude and focus on customer service.

Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:

• Shifts are approximately 10am-8pm.


• You can expect to work 4 days per week and 8- 10 hours per day. (1 weekend day per work week is required)


• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and on time.


• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

We provide on-the-job training (at no cost to you) so that all of our employees are prepared and feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with.
