Job summary

315 Logistics in Virginia Beach, VA is actively seeking Delivery Drivers to operate Amazon branded delivery vans, deliver packages to customers, and represent the company in the community.

Shifts are 10 hours long with a 3-4 day work week (Full Time) and daytime hours 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM. Weekend work is required. Benefits include health/vision/dental, 401K matching, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening.
• Must operate and navigate an Amazon branded delivery van (GVWR 10,000 lbs or less).
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle on and off the road.
• Use handheld device for routing and customer delivery information.
• Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle.
• Navigate a variety of routes within the delivery area.
• Support the team in daily work requirements and route assistance.
• Adapt to varying weather conditions while delivering packages.

315 Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner that was established in late 2019 as a veteran owned last mile delivery business. The company is based in Virginia Beach, VA and delivers small parcel packages throughout the Hampton Roads area 7 days a week. 361 days a year.

Job Description

Delivery Station: DRC6 - 2097 Harpers Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454, USA
Delivery Routes: Virginia Beach
Compensation: $21.00/hr, potential to work over-time
Military veterans are welcome!
Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Our Delivery Drivers drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers
within their community
10-hour shifts are typical
3 - 4 day work week (Full Time) is typical with potential for overtime
Daytime shift : 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM
One weekend day of work is required

Duties & Responsibilities of Delivery Drivers:

• Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle on and off the road
• Use handheld smart phone device for routing information, customer delivery information
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
• Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customer
