Job summary

Truist seeks a Wealth Analyst in the United States, starting with core training on systems, products and licensing requirements. You will rotate through Financial Advisor, Investment Analyst and Private Banking Advisor tracks to gain broad exposure to client relationships and investment management.

You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to relocate if needed and commit to the development path within Wealth.

Qualifications

  • Required: Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) before start.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 registrations required within 130 days from start date.
  • Licenses for Life, Health & Variable products applicable to Georgia residents.

The Role

As a Wealth Analyst you will learn about all aspects to begin a successful career in financial services that includes core systems training, product knowledge, securities registrations, and insurance licensing requirements.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Series 7
  • Series 66
  • Life, Health & Variable (Variable products for Georgia residents)
  • Analysts must obtain SIE prior to the start of the program. Additional securities registrations and insurance licenses must be obtained within 130 days from start date to continue with the program.

Analysts will participate in multiple rotations, and receive core training on relationship management, product knowledge and systems within Wealth. The 12-to-18-month program includes multiple shadowing experiences with our client-facing relationship management teams within Wealth:

  • Financial Advisor/Financial Consultant – You will spend time with financial advisors understanding how they interact with clients and build their book of business. This includes activities such as client meetings, making effective outbound calls, and working within key systems.
  • Investment Analyst – You will spend time with Investment Analysts and Investment Managers to gain an understanding of how to create client presentations, conduct industry research, and make changes to investment mixes based on the current market.
  • Private Banking Advisor – You’ll observe Private Banking Advisors to gain knowledge and understand how they prepare for client meetings with financial advisor teams, collaborate with other internal partners and deepen deposit and lending relationships.
What To Expect

Throughout your time as a Wealth Analyst, you will expand your leadership and collaborative team skills, while gaining industry and technical knowledge. Our program also offers vast exposure to senior leaders within Wealth, a support network of mentors and peers, and the chance to join the close‑knit Wealth community.

Upon program completion, analysts who meet performance requirements may be placed in one of the Wealth roles mentioned above, as well as others―based on business needs, analyst preference and performance.

The Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (business or finance preferred) at an accredited college or university with a graduation date of December 2026-May/June 2027
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Superior written and oral communication abilities
  • Independent, entrepreneurial mindset, goal‑oriented
  • Ability to manage, adapt to a fast‑paced environment, collaborate well with teams
  • Flexibility to potentially relocate

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation

All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
