Urenco USA invites students to join its 2027 Internship Program for 11 weeks in Eunice, NM, working on instrumentation and controls projects under experienced mentors. The internship runs May–August 2027 with a 40-hour work week and housing/utilities provided.

We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.
Chosen candidate will work with mentors on real projects that directly impact UUSA’s enrichment and Net Zero initiative. The I&C Maintenance Intern will support the IC Maintenance team in maintaining the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant instrumentation and controls systems and equipment. The intern will gain hands-on experience in instrumentation and controls maintenance practices, preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting, work planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while working under the guidance of experienced I&C technicians, engineers, and supervisors. This internship provides practical exposure to a highly regulated nuclear fuel cycle facility and helps develop foundational skills in I&C maintenance, safety, and reliability.
