Job summary

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board invites you to join our Customer Experience Insights and Analytics team for a 10-week summer internship. As a CX Insights and Analytics Intern, you’ll engage in hands-on projects focusing on research, data analytics, and trend analysis related to our airport consumer insights group.

Qualifications

• Active student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Research or related field.
• Experience with data analysis using Excel, SPSS, and Q Research Software.
• Understanding of the consumer research process and insights.
• Ability to interpret data and derive strategic recommendations.
• Proficient in creating clear, engaging PowerPoint presentations and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Parking Benchmark study and related consumer insights projects under guidance.
• Program surveys, manage samples, and perform data analysis and visualization.
• Contribute to ad hoc studies and end-to-end research efforts for internal clients.

Job Overview

Are you passionate about creating a world-class customer experience using data analytics, trend analysis, and data-driven decision making? DFW Airport invites you to join our Customer Experience Insights and Analytics team for a dynamic 10-week summer internship. As a CX Insights and Analytics Intern, you'll engage in a hands-on project focused on research, data analytics and trend analysis related to our airport consumer insights group.

What you will be doing:

You will play a pivotal role in our annual Parking Benchmark study for the Transportation Business Unit, taking on a position that involves several aspects of consumer insights. With the guidance of the Consumer Insights Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the success of this significant project. Your responsibilities will encompass survey programming, ensuring meticulous sample management, and executing comprehensive data analysis and visualization. You will also actively contribute to various ad hoc studies while engaging in end-to-end research functions to provide valuable insights to our internal clients, support other research initiatives, and participate in secondary research on pertinent topics. You will lend your experience to the analysis of our Customer Satisfaction study, adding depth to your experience and contributing to our boarder understanding of consumer preferences.

What you need:

Must be an active student in a bachelor's degree program in Marketing Research or related fields. Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, SPSS, and Q Research Software. A fundamental understanding of the consumer research process. Awareness of how consumer insights are gathered and analyzed. The ability to interpret data and lead it to key learnings that inform strategic recommendations. Proficiency in creating clear and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to convey research findings. Adept in verbally delivering those presentations. Effective communication and collaboration skills. 18 years of age or older.

Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher including but not limited to the following Universities (University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Paul Quinn College, or University of Oklahoma).
