Job Overview

Are you passionate about innovation and using technology to improve the passenger experience? Join DFW Airport’s 2027 Innovation Summer Internship and contribute to our Autonomous People Mover (APM) initiative, which explores autonomous wheelchairs and passenger transport within our terminals. Working with cross-functional teams and a technology vendor, you will help enhance the APM’s integrated display system to deliver relevant airport information, operational announcements, and targeted advertisements. This hands‑on opportunity will allow you to explore ideas, connect technology with business needs, and contribute to a project that supports a more informed, connected passenger journey.

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and/or present written, oral, and electronic proposals to management staff.
• Providing support during the discovery/scoping stage of projects to ensure standards and expectations are met (includes support for budget estimation and business case development)
• Participating in a variety of professional development activities providing practical experience in the application of development skills toward the solution of business problems.
• Coordinating with internal consultants, cross-functional team members and external partners.
• Assisting with project plans, assignments, tasks, and project reporting.

What you need:

• Must be an active student in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing / Digital Marketing or a related field at an accredited college or university.
• 18 years of age or older.

What we desire:

• Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, including but not limited to the following Universities (University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Paul Quinn College, or University of Oklahoma)
• We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position at this time.
