Job summary

REDW Advisors & CPAs is seeking a Tax Intern to support the firm in preparing corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns and related work papers. You will work with experienced staff to develop accounting skills and contribute to special projects, with responsibilities carried out fully and promptly.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or are pursuing degrees in accounting, business administration, or finance, with a GPA of 3.2+ and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Attained or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a desire to learn and ability to follow direction.
• Within one year of being eligible to sit for the CPA exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns prepared by the firm.
• Assists in work paper and special schedule preparation for tax examinations.
• Works with experienced tax staff to develop accounting skills.
• Assists with special projects.
• Assumes responsibility for completing all assigned areas fully.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
