Parker Hannifin's Hydraulic & Aerospace Filtration Division in Greensboro, NC offers a paid Supply Chain Internship Program that develops emerging talent through hands-on exposure to end-to-end materials flow in a manufacturing environment.

Interns collaborate with planning, purchasing, production, logistics and quality to ensure on-time delivery and optimized inventory, with mentorship and measurable goals that may lead to future leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Industrial Systems Engineering or related fields.
• Leadership desire and experience demonstrated through roles in class, student organizations, work or internships, or extracurricular activities.
• Desire to working in a manufacturing environment
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Must be able to work 30 - 40 hours a week in the summer
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien

Responsibilities

• With direct supervision, you will learn and perform the various aspects of the function by acquiring knowledge of how different departments operate.
• Observe work assignments and actively participate in hands-on projects.
• Maintain communication with program coach/mentor to provide feedback and improvements.
• Attend related training and apply it in work assignments.

Position Summary

Position Summary

The HAF Division, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Parker Supply Cain Internship Program develops emerging talent through handson exposure to Supply Chain. In this internship, incumbents will get exposure to end-to-end materials flow in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with planning, purchasing, production, logistics, and quality to ensure on-time delivery and optimized inventory. This internship will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, pull and analyze data usings KPI dashboards and reports, and helps identify risks and mitigation actions across the supply base and logistics network. This paid internship includes measurable goals and mentorship and serves as a potential pathway to our Supply Chain Leadership Development program or direct hire opportunities.
