Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is offering a Summer Internship in Supply Chain Management in Kalamazoo, MI. The role provides hands-on experience in a cross-functional, on-site environment and opportunities to contribute to system improvements and data integrity.

You will work with teams to develop documentation, build skills in data analysis, and participate in project meetings while pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Basic understanding of supply chain processes and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work in teams.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with PBI is a plus.
• Programming knowledge (SQL, Python, Java) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into sustainable solutions.
• Maintain and update supply chain databases ensuring data integrity.
• Develop user manuals and training materials for supply chain systems.
• Support troubleshooting of system issues and propose improvements.

Position Summary

This Supply Chain Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management, working with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Essential Functions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and translate them into sustainable solutions.
• Help to maintain and update supply chain databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist in the development of user manuals and training materials for supply chain systems.
• Support the team in troubleshooting system issues and providing solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for system improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on project progress and results.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of supply chain processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PBI.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java is a plus.
