Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking a Marketing/Marketing Analytics internship in Lincolnshire, IL. The program trains students across Zebra’s GTM and messaging functions with hands-on experiences, mentorship, and social activities, preparing you for a business career.

Ideal candidates are rising undergrads in Marketing or Business Analytics, with strong research, AI familiarity, and excellent writing. Hybrid work schedule and intern allowances may apply.

• Currently enrolled in an undergrad Marketing/Marketing Analytics or Business Analytics program.
• Anticipated graduation date between Dec 2027–2029.

• Strong secondary research and competitive intelligence skills.
• Ability to read and synthesize long industry reports into executive summaries.
• Excellent written communication and basic survey design knowledge.

What We\'re Looking For

The purpose of this internship is to prepare students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide students with experiences that provide insights into a career with Zebra. Students will be positioned for success with training and hands on experiences, invited to social and development activities, and provided a professional mentor relationship.

The Solutions Marketing team defines the global messaging strategy and go to market frameworks for Zebra’s manufacturing vertical, we translate advanced technology solutions into compelling business value for our customers. We create industry specific thought leadership, sub vertical campaigns (Automotive, Electronics, Pharma), and specialized sales enablement toolkits that drive brand positioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Research customer pain points and maps them against basic Zebra product features
• Assists in organizing standard "messaging blocks" and drafting value proposition and key differentiators
• Analyzes performance metrics, identifies engagement patterns, and proposes potential optimizations
• Audits competitor positioning and industry studies, highlights competitor messaging opportunities and strengths, and synthesizes findings into clear executive summaries
• Serves as a first line of review for agency delivered assets to ensure they strictly align with Zebra\'s messaging frameworks and brand guidelines
• Supports the execution of GTM activities by tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Monitors trade publications and emerging B2B marketing trends to propose fresh narrative topics and survey questions for thought leadership initiatives
• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
• Increase technology knowledge and skills, especially as it relates to Zebra\'s product portfolio
• Manage team based work assignments
• Practice interpersonal skills to connect with day to day business contacts through follow up activities

This position requires hybrid work (3 days per week in office) in the Lincolnshire, IL office.

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing/Marketing Analytics or Business Analytics
• Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - 2029
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong secondary research and competitive intelligence skills
• Ability to read and synthesize long form industry reports (e.g., from PwC, Gartner, Deloitte) into executive summaries
• Excellent written communication skills
• Understanding of basic survey methodologies (e.g., how to write neutral, non leading, and structured multiple choice ranking questions)
• Self organization skills
• Intellectual curiosity about industrial technology
• Experience utilizing Generative AI and basic knowledge of prompt engineering to refine outputs
• Adaptability and Learning Agility – Willingness to learn quickly, embrace new tools or methods, and thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment
• Technical Skills – Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with technology solutions
• Integrity – Commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality
