Job summary

Zebra invites motivated undergraduates to join our Summer Internship program in Holtsville, NY. You’ll work on building a predictive forecasting model embedded with AI, using Zebra’s data pipelines and expanding data sources to improve workload forecasts.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, CS, CSE or Business Analytics.
• Anticipated graduation between December 2027 and 2028.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: Python, ML concepts, strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop a predictive forecasting model embedded with AI for ESS using Zebra data pipelines and new data sources.
• Map existing data sources within Zebra’s databases and identify data gaps.
• Build data pipelines to connect missing data for the model.
• Develop and train a machine learning model to forecast workloads.
• Test, refine, and improve model accuracy for reliable predictions.
• Visualize results in an accessible format for business leaders; document and present.
• Develop leadership and organizational skills during the internship.
• Gain exposure to Zebra’s product portfolio and technology stack.
• Collaborate with teams to manage project work and deadlines.
