BETA Group, Inc. invites engineering students to join its 2027 Summer Internship – Transportation Engineering in Lincoln, RI.

You will work on real-world transportation projects alongside experienced engineers, planners, and scientists, gaining practical skills and industry exposure. Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of general engineering theory and concepts.
• Proficient in the use of current technology (i.e., tablets, smart phones, laptops, etc.).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong technical aptitude with an eagerness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to collect field data and measurements including but not limited to roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets; and perform asset inspections.
• Must be able to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow).
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)

BETA Group, Inc. is seeking motivated candidates for our 2027 Summer Internship – Transportation Engineering program. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of real-world transportation projects alongside a team of experienced engineers, planners, and scientists. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from industry leaders and gain practical skills that will support your future in engineering.
