Bath Iron Works, part of General Dynamics Marine Systems, is seeking students for a summer internship in the Planning department in Bath, Maine. The program runs May 17 to August 6, 2027, offering hands-on experience in budgeting, work order processes, and project coordination.

Candidates must be enrolled in a BS or MS engineering or related program, be able to start on May 17, 2027, and possess strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and MS Office skills.

Part of General Dynamics Marine Systems, Bath Iron Works is a full service shipyard specializing in the design, building and support of complex surface combatants for the U.S. Navy. The Summer internship program begins Monday, May 17, 2027 and ends on Friday, August 6, 2027. Pay range for this position is $18/hr. - $29/hr.

• Must currently be enrolled in a BS or MS Academic Program with an Engineering or related discipline.
• Must be available to begin the Internship on Monday, May 17, 2027.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to contribute as a team member.
• General computer skills and a knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to organize, plan and execute projects.
• Research skills and attention to detail.
