Job summary

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated Civil and Environmental Intern to join our company. This position will support a variety of water projects, with a focus on drinking water infrastructure. Duties and responsibilities vary based on level of experience and project expectations. An intern will generally shadow experienced professionals and participate as a member of a team by contributing to actual projects. Interns are able to apply what they have learned “from the classroom” via experience based-learning.

This Internship Position will be based in our Andover, MA office.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a second or third year Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science student. Specific classes taken should include a mix of the following: Hydraulics, Hydrology, Wastewater Treatment, Stormwater Design, Pavement Design, Soils, Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD), and Fluid Mechanics. Experience or interest in site/civil engineering, wastewater, drinking water, stormwater, GIS, and AutoCAD is desired.

$25 - $29 an hour

Pay:

This position’s anticipated pay range is provided above; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
