Job summary

Woodard & Curran Inc. is seeking a dynamic Professional Engineer to join our Water Team as a Project Manager.

You will partner with municipal clients to design and deliver drinking water projects across New England, Tampa, and Los Angeles regions, leading multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing budgets, schedules, and QA/QC. The ideal candidate has 10–20 years in consulting engineering, a PE license, and strong communication and proposal-writing skills to support project delivery and business

Qualifications

10–20 years of consulting engineering experience.
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or M.S. preferred.
Registered Professional Engineer in one of the eligible states (reciprocity allowed).
Strong PM skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
Experience with municipal drinking water systems and regulatory familiarity.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver drinking water design, planning, and construction projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
Set delivery approaches in collaboration with senior leadership.
Schedule and track budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
Use the PM framework to execute projects to Woodard & Curran standards.
Communicate progress to project teams and clients.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Represent the firm professionally to clients and stakeholders.
Visit client sites for meetings and oversight of construction.
Support business development and proposal efforts.
Support staffing and design guideline development.
