Job summary

The Textron 2027 Summer Intern in Software/Computer Science Engineering in Fort Worth offers hands-on experience on real projects alongside seasoned professionals. You will contribute to systems engineering activities, write code in C, C#, and Matlab, and learn control system design and modeling in a structured internship program.

Eligibility includes pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree, meeting credit-hour and GPA requirements, and committing to the full 10-week program from June 1 to August

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by start of internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
  • Able to complete the entire 10 weeks (June 1–August 6, 2027).
  • 3.0 minimum overall GPA; undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science Engineering Intern
  • Gain familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
