Job summary

Textron is seeking a Summer Intern in Fort Worth, TX to support quality development and manufacturing projects. You will analyze processes for capability and failure modes, and help develop corrective actions under quality engineering management.

The role requires pursuing a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree with at least 60 credits completed by June 2027, and a 10-week commitment from June 1 to August 6, 2027. Strong analytical and CAD/CAM skills are desired.

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace.
  • Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027).
  • Able to complete the full 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027.
  • GPA 3.0 minimum; undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Quality Intern:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas and help us build a world‑class global operations team while keeping safety a top priority for the company. As a Quality Intern at Bell, you can expect to support quality development, process improvement, and manufacturing project management for legacy and new aircraft. In this role, you will analyze processes to determine manufacturing capability, failure modes and corrective action/improvement opportunities. Participate in design requirements analysis to develop new quality control processes (including use of advanced aerospace materials) and validate corrective actions. Coordinate team efforts and measures project performance. Receive assignments and direction from quality engineering management.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace required.

  • Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience

  • Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027

  • 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred
