Job summary

Textron's Bell subsidiary in Fort Worth, TX offers a 2027 Summer Intern position for Industrial Engineering (Operations). You will work on real manufacturing projects, helping to improve quality, safety, and on-time delivery while learning from seasoned professionals.

Areas include capacity analysis, standards and routing, Lean methods, capital planning, data analytics, and project management. Strong Excel, Power BI, and SAP experience are preferred; a GPA and 60 credits are required.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial & Systems Engineering required.
• Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 - August 6, 2027.
• 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

• Standards, Span, Order Policy, Work Structure, & Routing Maintenance including Time Studies.

A Day in the Life of an Industrial Engineering Intern:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas and help us build a world-class global operations team while keeping safety a top priority for the company. As an Industrial Engineer at Bell, you can expect to play a key role in enabling Manufacturing to produce Quality Products, Safely, on time and under budget. This position will ensure that we identify, and implement, the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Measures) needed to meet these objectives.

What You Will Need:
