Allegion is seeking a Summer Intern in Wilmington, DE to support the Multifamily Business Development team. You will help market Allegion Multifamily Solutions to developers, leverage AI tools, and participate in product and sales training.

The internship targets juniors pursuing business, marketing, or architecture fields, with leadership examples, strong communication, and energy to build relationships. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to strategic growth initiatives.

• Develop marketing strategies to target Multifamily Developers
• Use digital tools and marketing collateral to differentiate Allegion solutions
• Review Multifamily Dodge leads and identify target opportunities
• Utilize AI to generate developer target lists and senior contacts
• Develop prospecting skills through email, social media, and calls
• Create target account queries in Dodge for the sales team
• Collaborate with Multifamily Consultants and Virtual Sales Consultants
• Document prospecting efforts in CRM with call reports and forecasting
• Attend product and sales training sessions and project tracker meetings
• Understand new construction/renovation project processes

Summer Intern - Multi-Family Business Development

The Multifamily Business Development Intern is responsible for marketing Allegion Multifamily Solutions to Multifamily developers. As Multifamily Business Development Intern will leverage AI tools, Dodge construction data, and modern prospecting strategies to identify, engage, and qualify high-value developer opportunities for Allegion’s multifamily sales team.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

What You Will Do:

• Develop marketing strategies to target Multifamily Developers
• Use our digital tools and marketing collateral to differentiate Allegion solutions
• Review Multifamily Dodge leads and identify target opportunities
• Utilize AI to generate Multifamily developer target list and senior level contacts.
• Develop prospecting skills to target developers and owners through email, social media and telephone calls.
• Develop target account queries in Dodge to share with members of the sales team
• Collaborate and share qualified leads with Multifamily Consultants and Virtual Sales Consultants
• CRM & Data Management: document prospecting efforts in CRM via call reports and product forecasting
• Participate in Allegion product and sales training sessions and Multifamily Project tracker meetings
• Gain an understanding of how new construction and renovation projects are developed, furnished, and completed.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion

What You Need to Succeed:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, architectural, construction, or a related field
• Completed junior year or above by the start of the internship
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
• Passion for creating relationships
• Competitive spirit and desire to be a part of a winning team
• High internal motivation, creativity, and forward-thinking ability
• Excellent communication skills; in particular must be comfortable creating and delivering recommendations and information to a group
• Strong organizational skills and technologically savvy
• Ability to stay organized and detail oriented
