What you'll do as a MISO Intern:

• Take on meaningful, highimpact projects in Internal Audit-performing control testing, evaluating business processes, documenting audit evidence, and contributing to risk mitigation and compliance (including Entity Level and SarbanesOxley audit exposure).
• Work sidebyside with your manager and mentor and connect with a crossdepartmental buddy to expand your network and understand how different teams support MISO's mission.
• Learn from industry experts during interactive lunch & learn sessions.
• Attend community service events, intern socials, networking activities, and development programming to help you grow your confidence, build relationships, and understand MISO's broader mission.
• Wrap up the summer with a final presentation summarizing your project work, recommendations, and areas of impact.

We are looking for students who...

• Are pursuing degrees in Accounting/Finance, Business/Business Administration or Data Analytics/Data Science (Undergraduate or Graduate).
• Have strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Are eager to learn from an experienced audit team and gain exposure to Entity Level and SarbanesOxley audits.

To be eligible for the program, you must be available to start Wednesday, June 2nd, 2027 and continue through Friday, August 13th, 2027. No VISA sponsorship opportunities, including OPT/CPT.
