Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Fuel Engineering Data Analyst intern to design and develop solutions that improve operations and project management. You will interface with internal teams and report to the GNFE Transformation & Growth Manager in Cranberry Township, PA for a paid full-time hybrid internship this summer (May–August 2027).

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree, have completed sophomore year, and show proficiency with data analysis tools and software.

About the role:

As a Fuel Engineering Data Analyst intern, you will design and develop solutions and tools to enhance our operations, support project management processes, and interface with internal functional groups to perform work assignments.

You will report to the GNFE Transformation & Growth Manager and be located at our Cranberry, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth operation of business-critical workflows and functions
• Solution Development: Design and develop innovative solutions and tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Project Support: Support project management processes for several internal projects
• Collaboration: Work with internal functional groups to complete work assignments and support cross-functional projects

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
