ICF is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern, Configuration Analyst, to work within our Utility Programs and Services group in Reston, VA. The internship runs for 10 weeks, full-time, with a hybrid work model and no relocation housing assistance.

You will support the software development cycle and help manage system data and BI outputs for energy efficiency projects, collaborating with IT stakeholders and senior technologists.

Competenze

• Completion of at least 30 credit hours in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent work authorization required per Federal contracts.

• Communicate regularly and effectively with team members as to the status of various tasks, including leading status update meetings.

2027 Summer Intern, Configuration Analyst (Reston, VA)

ICF is seeking a Configuration Analyst Intern to work within a dynamic and highly innovative team environment in our Utility Programs and Services group. The Configuration Analyst Intern will support tasks within the software development cycle and be responsible for system data together with the business intelligence it provides. This position supports project delivery on IT projects for the energy efficiency and utility sectors and will contribute to a team that brings high-quality products and innovative solutions to our clients.

Our summer internship is full-time for 10-weeks beginning in early June and ending in early August. Work may be performed in a hybrid capacity from Reston, VA.At this time, we are unable to provide relocation nor housing assistance.

What you will be doing:

• Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools

What we would like you to have:

• Experience in MS Office products, such as Excel, Visio, Teams and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service focus, project planning, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective time management skills and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment and to coordinate amongst diverse program stakeholders
• Experience/Exposure in the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors is a plus
