Job summary

Apple Bank invites motivated undergraduates to join a 10-week summer internship in New York City. The program offers hands-on learning, onboarding in NYC, and a hybrid work model with four days in the office and one day remote.

You will rotate through teams such as Commercial Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial, National Deposits, Credit Risk, and Operations. The internship emphasizes dedicated leadership, a capstone team project, and individual development through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related Bachelor’s degree program as a rising senior; expected graduation Dec 2027 - May 2028.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Experience using MS Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Authorized to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work both independently and as part of a team on internship projects.
• Prepare deliverables for meetings with professionalism and insight.
• Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building during rotations.
• Contribute to team projects across assigned departments (Commercial Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial, National Deposits, Credit Risk, Operations).
• Participate in onboarding, training and mentoring activities.

Salary Range: $24/hr -$27/hr

Our 10-week internship program offers real-world experience to undergraduate students across core areas of commercial lending.

As part of the summer internship program, you could have a rotation in one or more of the following teams based on business need and previous experience:

Commercial Mortgage Division
Commercial & Industrial Division
National Deposits Group
Credit Risk
Operations

What to expect:

The internship program runs for 10 weeks, from Monday, June 7, 2027, through Thursday, August 12, 2027. An in-person first week in NYC, where you will participate in onboarding, training and team building. A hybrid working model: 4 days a week in the office and 1 day a week remote/virtual. Dedicated leaders steering you through meaningful work in your assigned department. A team project, focused on a real business concern, presented to Senior Leadership. Individual development opportunities. Coaching and Mentoring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• You are currently enrolled in a related Bachelor’s degree program as a rising Senior, with an expected graduation date December 2027 - May 2028.
• You have obtained a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• You have experience using MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You are currently authorized to work in theUnited States with no restrictions; please note that we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
