Job summary

Spectrum is offering an 11-week internship designed to give hands-on experience in data analytics within the telecommunications field. You will work with two teams on department and intern cohort projects, with a mix of 80% project work and 20% professional development activities.

You’ll gain exposure to data reporting, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration while rotating through initiatives and final presentations to demonstrate impact.

Qualifications

• Rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA in the current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics Intern supporting reporting and analytics by analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards, and turning data into insights.
• Assist with integrating data from multiple sources, building automation, documenting data definitions, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Support management reporting, ad hoc requests, and compliance-related data audits with stakeholders and maintain reporting tools.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team‑focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross‑functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

Assist with integrating data from multiple sources, building automation, documenting data definitions/business rules, and identifying improvement opportunities. Support management reporting, ad hoc requests, and compliance‑related data audits while collaborating with stakeholders and helping maintain reporting tools and resources.

• Sourcing requirements from business, creating reports and dashboards to highlight key metrics and drive strategic decisions

Required qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• ETL / BI Tools (Alteryx and Tableau are a plus), Python, SQL

The base pay for this position generally is between $31.00 and $32.50. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses.
