Job summary

UPS is seeking an Intern in Missouri to join our industrial engineering team. You will contribute to data analysis, process improvement, and operational planning, helping us move data, ideas, and solutions forward.

The internship requires current student status, U.S. work authorization, and availability for 40 hours per week. You will work on MSD data, cost-benefit analyses, and AI/automation initiatives across the organization.

• Work Measurement in Master Standard Data (MSD)
• Cost benefit analysis
• Process improvement analysis
• Operational planning
• Exploring and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and data analytics tools to improve operational efficiency and support engineering initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
• Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the internship or willing to relocate yourself
• Current student enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or recent graduate from a degreed college/university program within the past 24 months
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week.

For Non-Union Intern/Co-Op Positions:
