Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is offering an Industrial Engineering Intern position. The role focuses on targeted projects with opportunities to observe operations, collect data, communicate cross-functionally, and present results to the Industrial Engineering staff upon completion.

Projects cover work measurement, cost-benefit analysis, process improvements, and operational planning, with exposure to AI, automation, and analytics tools to boost efficiency and support engineering initiatives.

An Industrial Engineering Intern at UPS works on targeted projects individually, or in small teams. Projects require operational observations, data collection, cross functional communication, and problem solving. All completed projects will be presented to the Industrial Engineering staff upon completion.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
• Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the internship or willing to relocate yourself
• Current student enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or recent graduate from a degreed college/university program within the past 24 months
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week.
