Mitsui & Co. Energy Marketing and Services (USA), Inc. (MEMS) and Mitsui E&P USA LLC (MEPUSA) are affiliated energy companies based in Houston’s Galleria/Uptown area. MEMS focuses on energy marketing, trading, and services across North America, while MEPUSA focuses on the exploration and production of oil and natural gas. Together, we are seeking paid interns for temporary, full-time positions as part of our Summer 2027 Rotational Internship Program, where students can contribute to meaningful work and learn how an integrated energy business operates.
During this immersive 12-week program, interns will complete two 6-week rotations that provide exposure to a wide range of business functions across MEMS and MEPUSA. Depending on candidate interests and business needs, interns may support areas such as Accounting, Energy Trading (Oil, NG, LNG, Power), Market Analytics, Business Development, Human Resources, IT, and Land. Assignments may include departmental rotations, project-based work, and other hands‑on learning experiences, that expose interns to key functions within the energy industry where Interns will apply classroom knowledge, gain practical skills, and learn about energy operations across multiple commodities.
Top-performing interns may be considered for a full-time development program upon graduation, offering an opportunity to begin a career in the energy industry
