Mitsui E&P USA LLC is offering a paid Summer 2027 Rotational Internship Program in Houston. This 12-week program provides two 6-week rotations across MEMS and MEPUSA, with opportunities in Accounting, Energy Trading, Market Analytics, Business Development, HR, IT, and Land.

Interns will work on project-based assignments, learn energy operations across multiple commodities, and may be considered for a full-time development program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Interest in energy markets and industry operations.
• Eagerness to learn and strong analytical skills.
• Academic background in Energy, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
• Current juniors or seniors seeking hands-on experience.
• Knowledge or participation in energy trading programs like TRIP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in two 6-week rotations across MEMS and MEPUSA.
• Support Back Office: analyze market structures, invoicing, and cash flow.
• Support Middle Office: manage counterparty credit lines and guarantees.
• Support Energy Trading & Marketing with market reporting and analysis tools.
• Attend industry conferences and contribute to special projects.
• Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across MEMS and MEPUSA learning how functions support the energy industry.
