Position Summary

This internship will expose future leaders of public accounting to audit, tax preparation, and research within a growing national CPA firm. Interns will work on real client engagements, learn to build client relationships, and gain hands‑on experience in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Your Contributions and Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business‑specific research, gather and analyze data, compile reports, and make recommendations to principals and partners.
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow‑through.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Your Background and Skills

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (obtained degree is a plus).
• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Preferred completion of at least one Intermediate Accounting course and being on track or qualified to sit for the CPA examination.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform work accurately and efficiently with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
• Ability to work under close supervision, accept constructive feedback, and collaborate with a team‑oriented environment.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word & Excel, and report writing tools.
