MKS Instruments is offering a Spring software engineering co‑op in Rochester, NY. You will partner with Technical Operations to assist in designing, developing, and implementing cost‑effective production automation software used in semiconductor and thin film markets.
You will report to the Operations Software Team Lead and contribute to maintaining and expanding automation platforms, while collaborating with NPI teams on new product deployments.
This is a Spring internship in Rochester, NY.
As a Software Engineering Co‑op at Power Solutions, you will partner with Technical Operations to assist other software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of cost‑effective production automation software for products that are used in the semiconductor and thin film markets. In this role, you will report to the Operations Software Team Lead.
Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co‑ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
