Job summary

Frontier Airlines is seeking a Spring Intern in Human Resources (Recruiting) to gain frontline experience within the HR department in Denver, CO. The role involves project work, data reporting and support across HR processes.

The internship runs Spring 2027 (1/11/2026 - 5/21/2027) with mentorship, training and opportunities to engage in company-wide events and learning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university; enrollment is preferred.
  • Honors related fields: Communications, Organizational Development or Human Resources are favored.
  • Experience in customer service or event planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HR projects and department functions as assigned.
  • Respond to requests from employees, candidates and leadership via email, phone, and in person.
  • Create and analyze HR reports and update HR presentations.
  • Complete assigned HR projects timely and professionally.
  • Maintain data in HR systems and support HR meetings.

What Will You Be Doing?

The 2025 Spring Intern, Human Resources (Recruiting) will have the opportunity to gain experience in airline operations at Frontier Airlines by working within the HR department for a specific period of time. The intern will gain experience throughout Human Resources through assigned project work and on the job training. This internship is for Spring 2027 -1/11/2026 - 5/21/2027 based in Denver, CO.

Essential Functions
  • Assist assigned HR department with various projects and functions as assigned.
  • Respond (by email, phone and in person) to requests made by employees, candidates, and members of leadership as needed.
  • Create and analyze Human Resources reports, as designated
  • Create and/or update HR presentations
  • Complete assigned HR projects in a timely and professional manner
  • Update and/or maintain data in HR systems
  • Assist in the facilitation of HR meetings, including booking meeting rooms, creating agendas and following-up on action items.
  • Assist with filling and maintenance of HR records.
Other Functions (Varies by Assigned Department with HR)
  • Become knowledgeable of all Frontier policies and departmental procedures and policies where intern performs work.
  • Work with the Manager, Learning & Development to participate as a member of the Company’s training Center of Excellence.
  • Work within the Learning Management System (LMS) for the company to monitor compliance and identify training needs
  • Assist with various projects and functions as assigned.
  • Gather feedback and measure the impact of engagement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Organize and facilitate company-wide events, town halls, and engagement activities.
  • Assist in the creation and promotion of employee recognition programs to celebrate employee contributions.
  • Coordinate with Communications, HR, and Branding teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company values.
Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university, preferred
  • Preference given to candidates pursuing a degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Previous experience in customer service or event planning preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Possess excellent office and communication skills
  • Must have working knowledge of PC’s, MS Office software including Word, Excel

Close Supervision: The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions. Work is checked frequently.
