Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to contribute from day one on surface vehicle software. You will work across the product lifecycle with mentorship and hands-on projects in a defense and commercial tech environment.

You'll develop embedded control systems and sensor interfaces while pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS, gaining experience in a collaborative setting and working on site at Textron’s Maryland facility.

Qualifications

• C/C++, C#, Python, and/or Java programming.
• Basic shell scripting experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

• Working cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and products.

About This Role

A Day in the Life of a Software Engineer:

Qualifications

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $99,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year.
